Jesus was, Is and Will ever be
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
WAS
He was God according to John 1:1 which messes with a lot of people and they can’t accept that. But if Jesus isn’t God then the Bible is full of errors and is not to be trusted.
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and for ever.
He was not something or someone from eternity past nor has He changed into someone or something else since His resurrection and ascension back to heaven. He is part of the God head. There are three parts to God, all one but different. There is God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. In verse 2 we are told that Jesus was with God in the beginning. Jesus showed Himself in the flesh at His birth, then in the years He lived in the flesh before the cross. Even in His life He showed Himself to be God in the wondrous miracles He preformed. Then He died on the cross, but He did something that no one else has ever done He got up out of the grave and after 40 days ascended to Heaven.

Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Hebrews13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Jesus is the same today as always not changing sitting on the right hand of God.
WILL BE
Although Christ is not here today in flesh He is here. But He will come again one day and destroy all the enemies of God. He will come back before this for His church and we shall be with Him for ever.
Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
1Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
