PRAYER part ll

PRAYER part II

1Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

But he did not tell them what position to be in when they prayed. You can pray anywhere at anytime. Yes, I like to bow on my knees, but sometimes that is not possible. So I just pray where I am, how I am, standing, seated or even laying down. The main thing is to pray and the position of the heart is vital in a effective prayer. I think it would behoove us to pray this scripture for ourselves every time we pray

Psalm 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:

24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Then we can pray in whatever position we are in.

Bowing

Exodus 4:31 And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.

Exodus 34:8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.

Kneeling

Daniel 6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

Luke 22:41 And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

Standing

Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

Luke 18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

We need to be in prayer very much, daily, hourly and even minute by minute. Pray wherever you find yourself.

1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

Have a great day and don’t forget to pray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
