What Is Your Vision

WHAT IS YOUR VISION

Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

What is your vision as we enter a New Year? Do you have a vision for the upcoming year and those that will follow? Or do you simply want things to continue just as they have in the past? These are questions we all need to answer for our own selves and for those around us. The scripture says where there is no vision the people perish, I would submit to you that if you don’t have a vision you very may be the one to perish. If you don’t keep going forward you will be going backwards. I’m not saying you have to have a vision to change the world, but I would suggest we all should have a vision to affect the ones around us for good. Let me give you some things that could be your vision.

Grow closer to the Lord.

Win the lost to Christ.

Help those that are struggling spiritually

Grow closer to your family.

Show those that are not in Church the need to be in church.

Help grow fellowship of the believers.

Do you have a vision for these things? Do you desire to see these things come to pass? If you were thinking that they are not a vision, they are, as the word vision used in Proverbs 29:18 means an oracle, dream, sight, or vision. I would we all had the vision of our late dear brother Eurice Stone. He always prayed that all the lost would be saved and all the sick healed. That was his sincere prayer, what he wanted to see happen. What a vision!

I would we all had the vision to grow closer to the Lord, win the lost, help our brothers and sisters, grow closer to family bring people into church and grow our fellowship with one another. All these things are good but they will take more than us dreaming about them. We will have to roll up our sleeves and go to work to see our vision come to pass, with the Lord’s help.

You will have to see it in your mind and heart before you can start working on seeing it come to fruition.

Have a Great Day
