Bless The Lord

BLESS THE LORD

Psalm 103:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

I think we can all agree that we should bless the LORD. For no other reason than, He is God. The Psalmist says he is doing this with all that is within himself. I think we can all do that for God alone is worthy of praise and adoration, because He is God.

He has blessed us with so many things, and if we are not careful we bless the blessings and tend to forget the one that blesses us. In other words if we are not very careful we become more thankful for stuff than the Giver of the stuff.

The Psalmist says not to forget all His benefits. They are His forgiveness of sin, healing of diseases, saves life from destruction, gives lovingkindness and tender mercies.

Also gives us good food and renews our strength. Some awesome benefits I would say.

But, again, it is God that we should bless if He never gives us one thing more. We should bless Him just for being God and there being no other.

Psalm 104:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

Psalm 146:1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.

2 While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.

Are you blessing the LORD with your lips, your life and your love? That is the question. If you aren’t may I suggest you start today for He truly is worthy of all our praise and blessing we can give.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
