Got Faith

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

 Faith is something that we must have if we are to please God. Sadly many don’t have faith in God. People tend to have faith in entertainers, athletes and many other things, but, God is not one of them.

 Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Do you have faith in the Lord? That is the question we all must answer for ourselves.

God has given us many precious promises, do you believe that He will come thru on each of them. I used to think that was for others and that I was not worthy of His attention to my problems. But the Bible teaches us that God is not a respecter of persons. Let me ask you some questions that are faith checkers.

Do you believe that God can save, has He saved you?

Do you believe that God heals?

Do you believe that He is with you always even to the end of the world?

Do you believe that God can deliver you out of whatever you find yourself in?

Do you believe that He will give you grace in every situation in life?

The first question scripture tells us that He will save whosoever calls upon Him in faith.  

The Bible tells us that all of the things listed above God will do. It may not always be the way you would want Him to answer but He will answer.  

 God gives every man a measure of faith, it’s what we do with it that matters. We can do nothing and it is wasted or we can exercise it and faith will grow. I don’t know about you but I want my faith to grow. As the song says “I still trust you Lord”, that trust comes only from faith that is growing.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

 Finally I leave you with this question that Jesus asked. I hope the answer is yes but many are walking away from the faith and making shipwreck today. I hope you are not one of them, my prayer is that your faith will increase and not decrease.

Luke 18:8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
