Who Will Roll Away The Stone In Your Life

WHO WILL ROLL AWAY THE STONE IN YOUR LIFE

Mark 16:3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?

Here is a question that Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome asked as they came to the tomb on that resurrection morning. They knew that they could not roll it back by themselves. But they found it already rolled back when they arrived. The stone was not rolled away to let Jesus out but for others to view an empty tomb.

Today each of us have stones rolled in front of us that we are unable to move. But, don’t you like that word but? There is not a stone that is too big for the Lord to roll out of the way. You may have a seemingly unmovable stone in your life this very day, but I want to assure you that our Lord is able. I don’t care if it is cancer, covid, calamity, or crisis, He is still able to move that stone out of the way. I have heard too many testimonies of folk being healed of disease when the doctor has said there is no hope. I knew a brother in Christ that was diagnosed with cancer several years ago and only given 6 months to live with treatments and 3 months without. You really had to know him to appreciate his answer to the doctor. He told him something along these lines, I ain’t never had none of them treatments and I don’t think I’ll start now. I didn’t tell you he was in his upper 70’s when diagnosed, he passed 12 years later and not from cancer. I think the stone roller moved that stone out of his life. Praise God if he did it for one, He can do it for you. Now I’m not advocating not taking treatments and medicine, unless God tells you not to, and if that be the case He will take the stone out of the way.

I know a lot of folks that read these are Christians but maybe just maybe some will read that aren’t saved. I will tell you that you are in a place and there is a stone in the way and it is called sin. Bro Billy Fields wrote a song some years ago He STILL ROLLS THE STONE AWAY. In it there is a verse that says:

I was locked inside of an unseen grave, Shackled by man’s fallen state;

The door was sealed by Satan’s strong hand, There seemed no hope for escape.

So dark and lonely was my life, Was there no hope now left for me”

But grace lit the darkness and I could see that old cross, And in his nail scarred hands were the key

Chorus: He still rolls the stone away, He still changes hearts that will pray;

If your bound by sins prison you don’t have to stay, He still rolls the stone away

Friend, if you are lost you are bound by the sin and condemnation in your life. You need to be set free and Jesus is the only one who can roll the stone away that imprisons you. He will roll your stone away. Just ask Him to save you, Believe that he has done it and confess Him to others and you shall be saved. Stone gone!!!
