I saw a cartoon today that was funny but I’m afraid there is more truth in it than we would like to think. There was a desk with two people behind it and the caption said “we will be right back with more news as soon as we make some up”. Sounds funny but it would seem that is where we are today.
Read MoreThe day we celebrate as resurrection day has past on the calendar, but for those of us that know Christ, everyday should be celebrated as resurrection day. As the old Hymn says, “He arose, He arose, Hallelujah Christ arose”! That should stir you up by way of remembrance.

Here Jesus tells us how the church is built, not on Peter as some think but on his profession that “Thou art the Christ the Son of the living God”. You and I must believe this and confess this in order to be a part of “the church”.
