Which way are you looking? Are you looking to the past and wanting to go back or are you looking forward? If you are looking back you can’t go forward so I hope you are looking forward to what the Lord has for you and what He is going to do!

When sickness has come and the doctor doesn’t give a good prognosis, do you still trust Him? When death has claimed a loved one, do you trust the Lord? We either trust Him with everything or we really don’t trust Him. I know in my life there are things that I can’t do anything about but, whatever the outcome I trust Him. I may have fears and dreads but I know I can fully trust him. I am sure of Him, confident and secure in Him.

Life is short but eternity is more than our minds can comprehend. In just the past few days several people that I know have crossed into eternity and if you could ask them, they would tell you life had been very short. I want my time, however short or long it may be on this earth, to matter for Christ.

John makes it very plain that there is none without sin and that there is a remedy for sin. That remedy is in the person of Jesus Christ, not in the blood of bulls and goats, but He will forgive us our sins if we confess them to Him. Notice John said all, not part but all. Jesus is able and ready to forgive

The word holiness seems to be one that has left most churches and preaching today. It is associated with a particular set of churches and thought not to apply to us today. Granted there is nothing holy about you or me except Jesus if you are saved. But just because we are saved doesn’t let us off the hook. We are to strive to be holy in all we do. AW Tozer said something along the lines of Christianity in America is without holiness. He died in 1963. If it was lacking holiness then how much the more today?

John wrote this letter and although we can’t say for sure many think it was written to the Corinthians. In verse 1 he states it is to Gaius, who was saved and baptized at Corinth. In this verse John wished for 3 things: that he would prosper, be in health and his soul would prosper.

I find the biggest hindrance in my life is me. I have a hard time getting out of my comfort zone and doing things that I should do. I’m always afraid that I will be looked at as someone trying to be something that brings attention to me. I worry far too much about what people think and say, when I should be worried about what the Lord thinks.

I hope you have not found anything wrong with Jesus, if you will be realistic you will not find anything wrong with Him.

Although Christ is not here today in flesh He is here. But He will come again one day and destroy all the enemies of God. He will come back before this for His church and we shall be with Him for ever.

It was his last opportunity. Friend, when will be your last opportunity? Some say they will get saved someday, but what if today was the last time you had that opportunity? What if you are needing something from the Lord today in your life, healing physically or spiritually, what ever the need do you realize this day could be the last time you have that opportunity. If the Spirit draws you and you don’t heed, what will you do if He doesn’t draw you again. This could be the last time for you. What will you do?

I present this question to you, is Jesus in your house (your body), in your home, in your church services? If yes is the answer we should be seeing things happen in our lives, homes and churches. Think about it.

I know God can do anything at any time, but it is His will that will be done. Just because I ask for something and pray for it and know God can do it does not mean it will be done. I have faith in God, but I also have faith in His will and know that is what will be done.

Many will be shocked to hear that preachers get in dry and thirsty places. But let me assure you it happens to us all. Not only do we get thirsty but with that comes depression. Because we know what we should do and what we want to do, but because of the thirst for the things of the Lord we feel we have failed.

So my friend stay hydrated in the word and prayer so you don’t get thirsty.
