I have said in times past that I trust the Lord, but, in retrospect I realize that I never totally trusted Him. Oh, I trusted the Lord with my salvation, but, in looking back I see where I have many times trusted in others’ advice, circumstances and numerous other things.

We either trust Him with everything or we really don’t trust Him. I know in my life there are things that I can’t do anything about but, whatever the outcome I trust Him. I may have fears and dreads but I know I can fully trust him. I am sure of Him, confident and secure in Him.
Read MoreI don’t like disappointment, but, even more I hate the thought of disappointing others. I especially don’t want to disappoint my Lord after all He has done for me but I am afraid that I do disappoint Him in things that I do and those that I don’t do. I don’t like the thoughts of doing that. I don’t want to disappoint my church family but I know that the best I can do I still disappoint them. Believe me I don’t get up in the morning with the thought or intent of disappointing the Lord or my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that you don’t either.

Read MoreThe word holiness seems to be one that has left most churches and preaching today. It is associated with a particular set of churches and thought not to apply to us today. Granted there is nothing holy about you or me except Jesus if you are saved. But just because we are saved doesn’t let us off the hook. We are to strive to be holy in all we do. AW Tozer said something along the lines of Christianity in America is without holiness. He died in 1963. If it was lacking holiness then how much the more today?
Read MoreJohn wrote this letter and although we can’t say for sure many think it was written to the Corinthians. In verse 1 he states it is to Gaius, who was saved and baptized at Corinth. In this verse John wished for 3 things: that he would prosper, be in health and his soul would prosper.
Read MoreI find the biggest hindrance in my life is me. I have a hard time getting out of my comfort zone and doing things that I should do. I’m always afraid that I will be looked at as someone trying to be something that brings attention to me. I worry far too much about what people think and say, when I should be worried about what the Lord thinks.

Read MoreIf you belong to the Lord, He will fight your battles for you and all you have to do is give the battle to Him. He is the only one that can save your soul from Hell and the only one that can deliver you from being stuck between a rock and a hard place.
